First tell us a little about you. Let’s go through the obvious questions everyone asks. What are your favorite food, movie, and music?
Favorite food: anything really…from Japanese to Persian, Moroccan, Thai, Ethiopian, Spanish, Italian (and I mean authentic Italian…no commercialized, chain restaurants), Nigerian, Indian, French, Filipino, Mexican, Peruvian, Portuguese, Greek, and regular plain old American hot dogs and hamburgers…I like it all! I need variety, so I always like to try new things!
Movies: mainly horror & comedy flicks, but I like to mix it up with a few classic films & indie films once in a while.
Music: I’ve got a pretty eclectic taste for music too…from rock to hip hop, latin, country, and many more (yes, I did say country!).
Who is your role model? Why?
He’d probably laugh when he reads this, but my boyfriend is my role model…he’s smarter than he gives himself credit for, he always thinks outside of the box, he’s extremely selfless, hardworking, driven, ethical, and definitely keeps me on my toes! He’s constantly working to improve himself and pushes me to do the same…he’s training me for a triathlon right now (something completely unheard of for me because I was never the athletic type – but, by some miracle, he’s able to motivate me and keep me interested in it)!
For our serious car freaks out there - what is your dream car and what kind of car do you currently drive?
My dream car is the Mazda Rx8 – well, if you mean dream car as in “if I had a million dollars” dream car, then that would be the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster (with aftermarket Vertical Doors installed, of course)!
What do you prefer to do with your spare time?
Any hobbies or special interests?
Besides spending time with my family (daughter, boyfriend, sisters, parents, my dogs) and friends, I enjoy running, swimming, hiking, watching movies (either in the theater or at home), drinking coffee (lots of it – yes, it’s actually a hobby/interest for me!), hanging out at the beach, dancing, singing in the car, going for long drives or long walks, getting lost to find new places, playing in the rain, trying out new restaurants, and traveling; but mostly laughing and basking in the simple joys that come with those activities. Life is short – you gotta enjoy every minute of it!
What started or inspired you to become a model?
I’ve always loved being in front of the camera! Even at the age of 3, I was already a ham! I can assure you though – my pictures have definitely bumped it up a notch since then! Honestly, I can’t really say there was anything that inspired me to become a model – it’s always been a part of who I am…being in front of the camera has always been my passion and creative outlet. I can’t ever remember a time when I wasn’t in front of the camera!
What would you say was your most memorable modeling experience?
I think one of my most memorable modeling experiences has to be the first time I did a shoot with my boyfriend – he was such a sport about it! I couldn’t believe I actually convinced him to do a shoot with me…I love pulling him in front of the camera to work with me because he makes it so much more fun! It turns out, he’s pretty photogenic too!
What would you say was your worst modeling experience?
Luckily, I haven’t had any bad ones, to date (knock on wood)!
