Although it’s no where near as dramatic as Lamborghini’s own Reventon, this carbon-fiber bodykit from German tuner IMSA still strikes us as one of the most aggressive kits designed specifically for the Murcielago LP640. After focusing on the Gallardo for several years, including working with several race teams to create the GTV Gallardo, IMSA decided to use its motorsports knowledge to develop the new kit for the LP640.

The tuners used Autoklav molded carbon fiber technology to build the kit, using a similar process engineers use in F1. The kit consists of a new front spoiler, which adds an additional 35mm of width on either side of the car, carbon-fiber air ducts integrated into the top of the wheel arches, new side skirts with rear vented carbon-fiber ducts and a rear diffuser and spoiler combo.

Other features developed by IMSA include the unique multi-spoke wheels as well as a mild suspension and engine upgrade package.

The IMSA aerodynamic-enhancement-program is now available for the LP640 and will soon be available for the ‘standard’ Murcielago as well.
